Angelica Maria Vale Hartman, known professionally as Angelica Vale, is a Mexican-American actress, singer impersonator comedian and radio personality often referred to as the daughter of Angelica Maria La Novia de Mexico and also as the daughter of comedian Raul Vale. Her name is associated with the creation of La Balada Ranchera, a music genre that reached the top of charts in 1973. It also caused Angelica Maria to become the first Latin artist to have sold 2 million albums in the United States. When she was in 1974, the singer was introduced to Venezuelan comedian and singer Raul Vale, whom she got married on April 25, 1975, in the first wedding that was seen on television in Mexico.
